Primark is bringing its home collection to life online through a unique, “customer first” collaboration with Pinterest, which sees the partnership as a chance to expand onto the high street.
Pinterest has long trumpeted itself as the home of style inspiration, with users able to search the social media platform for whatever aesthetic they want. Primark is taking this one step further by bringing its home range to life through Pinterest as the retail brand expands its ecommerce offering.
“We’ve had the home range for 15 years, but we’ve only been actively marketing it for the last five to six years and building it out so that it becomes part of our world,” says Wendy Duggan, director of marketing at Primark, on the retailer expanding its homeware offering with a somewhat unexpected tie-up with Pinterest.
