When you think of flamingos, chances are you may think of Very.
The online retailer launched its ‘Let’s Make It Sparkle’ platform in November 2023 and with it introduced three brand characters – flamingos Kerry, Terry and Cherry – a theme it carried into Christmas 2024.
Chief customer officer Jessica Myers explains that having spent the year “doubling down on delivering consistency with the brand platform”, Very followed up with the introduction of flamingo children Coral and Otis.
With its brand characters firmly cemented in consumers’ minds, social media has become a key part of Very’s strategy, informed by customer demographics.
