‘Entertain, educate, equip’: Meet the brands unexpectedly flourishing on TikTok
From pensions to the property market, TikTok is fast becoming the social platform of choice for a host of brands – some of which you may not expect.
While its future in the US remains uncertain, TikTok is proving a crucial platform for brands of all shapes and sizes, with companies jumping on trends in search of virality.
The Royal Society for the Protection of Birds (RSPB) is one organisation taking a perhaps unexpected approach to the platform, as TikTok becomes a key pillar of the charity’s social strategy.
“TikTok is part of our broader brand strategy to show the perception that we’re more than just a bird charity,” says social media executive Yas Summan, who runs the charity’s TikTok page.
